Cardinals fans can watch LU home games on ESPN3 online at, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app or stream on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360, or Xbox One.  ESPN3 is available in more than 99 million households at no additional cost to fans with an affiliated internet or video provider, including Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, and Dish Network.

“Lamar University is honored and excited to work with ESPN in the coverage of our home games,” says LU Director of Athletics Jason Henderson. “This move supports our commitment to provide our student-athletes with maximum national exposure. We look forward to a long relationship with ESPN.”

Lamar University will produce all of the on-campus games. Director of Video Operations Clint Burges will lead the production crew. Local sports anchor Andrew Chernoff will do the play-by-play for both of tonight’s games. Jordan Washington of the Big Red Sports Network will provide analysis for the women’s game, while local TV personality Dan Gresham will be the analyst for the men’s game.

The rest of the duties, including technical directors, replay technicians, graphics operators, and camera operators, will continue to be filled by members of the BRSN staff.

“We believe we have the best video department in the Southland Conference,” says Burges. “This will give us a chance to not only showcase our athletic department, but will also give our students excellent opportunities to work on a professional production that will prepare them for their careers.”
