Live From CFP Championship: Pylon Cam Gets Full Deployment in Glendale

Pylon Cam Offers 32 New, Unique Angles For National Championship Game

There are nearly 70 cameras at the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Glendale, AZ but on top of that is one of the most innovative camera systems deployed in Glendale: Pylon Cam.

The system was first tested at last year’s CFP Championship Game in North Texas and in just one short year has grown into a major portion of the overall production of key college football games and Monday Night Football.

Jed Drake, Senior Vice President, Production Innovation at ESPN takes us inside the technology and how Pylon Cam has become one of his favorite tech projects.
