Jeff Lowe Joins Scale Logic as VP, Business Development

Scale Logic has announced that Jeff Lowe has joined its management team. Lowe brings over 20 years of experience in sports, media, and entertainment to his new position as the company’s VP of Business Development.

unnamedLowe was previously Director of Sports Solutions at Quantum where he was focused on StorNext and Lattus workflow storage solutions for sports broadcasting. He has also worked with NASCAR, where he built its first fully digital end-to-end state-of-the-art workflow and facility and Apple where he spent ten years on the team responsible for expanding the broadcast industry dominance of Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Server. Jeff has also worked at ABC and CBS TV in Network Broadcast Operations and Engineering.

“I am very excited to be joining the SLI team” says Lowe. “They have a value proposition that is unique in my experience. Their ability to offer resellers and end users a suite of storage and workflow solutions based on a lower cost, competitive file system, extended warranty services as well as solid turn key, flexible SAN and NAS solutions means they can take an honest, collaborative approach to business, not pushing a one size fits all product onto potential and existing customers.”

SLI was founded by a team of big data storage, networking, and technical executives to fill the gap left by other vendors between do-it-yourself storage and expensive enterprise storage systems. Lowe’s experience will compliment SLI’s drive for continued growth in its software and hardware platforms by providing a new level of expertise throughout the company’s current markets.

“We are confident that Jeff will be a valuable resource,” said Bob Herzan, CEO of SLI. “He will also establish new and enhanced relationships with our channel partners. His knowledge and relationships with our application and technology partners will strengthen our position throughout the industry.”
