TVU Networks Opens Office in Brazil, Adds Claudio Frugis as South American Sales Director

TVU Networks has announced the opening of its office in Sao Paulo, Brazil to better serve Brazilian customers and the growing number of TVU customers throughout Latin America. The company has also hired industry veteran Claudio Frugis as its South American Sales Director.

TVU Networks-LOGO-mbl-Based out of the new Sao Paulo office, Frugis will work with TVU’s regional partners, including Phase Engineering and STI Telecom, to address the needs of customers moving toward IP-based video solutions. Frugis will also assist with customer support throughout the region. The Brazilian office will provide local customer support for leading media companies around the world using TVU equipment at the upcoming summer Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.

Frugis joins TVU Networks with over 35 years of professional industry experience. He previously held the position of Sales Vice President in the Brazilian Market for Advantech Wireless for nearly a decade. Frugis also worked in Business Development at Nera America Latina Satcom, and also held the position of Intelligent Network & Data Communications Manager at Ericsson. He earned both his MBA and undergraduate degree at universities in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
