SVG College Podcast: Championship Week Over-the-Top (Joel Kitay, Kitay Productions)

Conference tournament time is one of the busiest times of the year for schools and conferences around the country. In this episode, we take a peek at one example that shows just how deep the desire for championship content goes this time of the year.

Division II East Coast Conference and the University of the District of Columbia partnered with the Monumental Network, a burgeoning digital content service in the DC regional that’s owned by Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

The production was handled by Joel Kitay, the owner and operator of Kitay Productions, a live sports video production company that has been packaging and distributing live sporting events since 2002.

In today’s episode Joel takes us inside this unique partnership, gives some Xs and Os behind the game productions, and shares some key lessons learned.
