Fox Sports Awarded Gold World Medal for FIFA Women’s World Cup Coverage

New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films presented Fox Sports with its first award of the season at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas. Fox Sports was recognized with the Gold World Medal for its critically acclaimed coverage of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, during which the U.S. Women’s National Team became the first team to win the tournament three times, besting Japan in a record-setting final that was watched by over 25 million viewers. Eric Shanks, John Entz, and David Neal served as executive producers.
