Live From Rio 2016: NBC Lays Out 4K/UHD Broadcast Schedule
Here's a list of which sports and where and when to view them
NBC Olympics’ comprehensive coverage of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad from Rio de Janeiro will include distribution of 4K/UHD coverage to cable, satellite, telco, and other partners. The 4K/UHD coverage of the Opening Ceremony, which will be produced by NBC Olympics, will also feature high dynamic range (HDR), and the 4K coverage will be made available on one-day delay.
MVPDs making 4K content available to consumers:
- Comcast: Xfinity UHD app on Samsung 4K Smart TVs
- DirecTV: linear channel #106
- Dish: linear channel #146 and VOD (non-HDR). Note: Dish will not have the Opening Ceremony during its initial 4K HDR playout.
- EPB: linear channel #803
