IBC 2016: ‘Content Your Way’ Provided by Grass Valley
On Stand 1.D11 Grass Valley will demonstrate integrated solutions that make it easy for customers to create, control and connect content wherever, however and whenever it is consumed. With a number of new solutions designed for live production, news, content delivery and networking, Grass Valley leads the way with products that help professionals meet their needs today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow.
“Content really is at the center of everything this industry does today,” said Marco Lopez, president, Grass Valley. “Viewers expect to be able to get their content when and where it is convenient for them, whether streamed on a mobile device, via traditional broadcast channels or played back on demand. Content creators and broadcasters need the tools that give them the flexibility to profit from that content as the opportunities arise.”
Customers in live production need a format-flexible approach that makes it easy to capture, process and replay content however it is needed to engage viewers. In news production, there is no margin for error—producers need equipment that will get it right the first time, no matter what feeds are coming in or where viewers are looking for their information. The ability to deliver across any channel is the key to expanding audiences and growing revenues by meeting changing viewing habits. And capturing, managing and moving all that content requires robust, open networks that are based on industry standards and designed to deliver speed and efficiency. IBC visitors will see how Grass Valley addresses each of these areas.
New products and solutions making their EMEA debut at IBC include the LDX 86N native HD/3G/4K/ High-Speed System Cameras, the direct IP solution for the LDX Series of cameras, the compact GV Korona K-Frame S-series Video Production Center switcher and iTX On-Demand Automated VOD Publishing. Visitors will also see updates to a wide range of products including GV Node Real Time IP Processing and Edge Routing Platform, GV Convergent Router Control and Configuration System, EDIUS multiformat nonlinear editing software and more. A complete, end-to-end 4K workflow will be demonstrated at the show.
During IBC, Grass Valley will also be participating in the conference sessions.
