The China Arena Football League (CAFL) and Arena Football League Global (AFL-G) announced that ONE World Sports, America’s Network for Global Sports, would carry their upcoming inaugural season, Super Series 2016. Beginning with the inaugural match live from Beijing, China’s capital city, Stamford-based ONE World Sports will air the CAFL’s entire 18-game series.

“The opportunity to partner with ONE World Sports for the CAFL’s inaugural season is a wonderful opportunity for the league. Through ONE World Sports’ growing distribution, fans in the U.S. will see something that will make them shake their heads in surprise, our game of US-style football, being played in China, with U.S. and Chinese players,” explains broadcaster and former NFL star Ron Jaworski, who is one of the U.S.-based owners of the new league. “What an amazing time for our sport! After years of building a foundation, we are about to kickoff, and the world will get to watch this truly historical league evolve from the other side of the globe. Who could have envisioned this?”

ONE-World-SportsONE World Sports partnership with the CAFL allows fans to see firsthand the growth and popularity of American style football throughout the world, culminating with the launch of a league of its own in China,” says Todd Myers, Vice President Programming, Acquisitions & Development, ONE World Sports. “The addition of football to ONE World Sports’ diverse programming further illustrates the network’s mission of providing varied sports from around the world, including those that emanate from and are most popular in the U.S.”

ONE World Sports’ coverage of the historic first season of the CAFL is available to viewers throughout the United States. ONE World Sports is a multi-platform sports network uniquely positioned to serve sports fans with marquee, live and original, content from around the globe. The CAFL is the brainchild of Martin. E. Judge Jr, a prominent Philadelphia area businessman, who has been closely involved in arena-style football as an owner (along with Jaworski) of the Philadelphia Soul.

“The People of China are going to love our sport and they will love seeing their own players on the field. I think the world will see this and shake their heads with amazement. Thanks to ONE World Sports’ coverage, the world will get to see our dream turn into a reality,” says Judge, who founded the CAFL’s parent company, AFL-Global and the CAFL in 2011.
