The centerhung includes four LED video displays topped with backlit panels of the school’s insignia. Each video display measures 10 feet high by 18 feet wide and features 10-millimeter line spacing for crisp, clear imagery when displaying live video, instant replays, up-to-the-minute statistics and graphical elements to boost school spirit and crowd participation.

Geye Hamby, Superintendent of Buford City Schools, says, “We are thrilled to have our new centerhung from Daktronics.  We have utilized Daktronics for many projects and numerous years and have always been pleased.  Daktronics is always quick to remember customer service is a priority.”

The facility also showcases backboards with LED light strips to enhance visibility as well as four supplemental scoreboards to keep crowds informed. Six locker room clocks keep teams on schedule during halftime. The school received an accompanying content package, delivered by Daktronics Creative Services, to bring the displays to life for each event.

“We were honored to be chosen to provide such a landmark display for their new facility,” says Matt Lundberg, Daktronics region sales manager. “A lot of consideration goes into those decisions and we’re proud to be part of this exciting time in the school’s history.”
