Burst Achieves Avid Platform Certification
Burst, the mobile video technology company that enables broadcasters, media companies, rights holders, and brands to instantly deliver mobile video to broadcast, OTT, and digital, has completed Avid Platform Certification.
Using the Avid Connectivity Toolkit, Burst and Avid collaborated to build a clean, effective connector between the Burst mobile video platform and Avid Media Central. Now, mutual customers are assured of a simple and painless connection between the platforms and that each will work as designed to streamline the integration of mobile video into an Avid production workflow.
Earlier this year, Burst announced its acceptance into the Avid Alliance Partner program and resulting inclusion in the Avid Connectivity Partner roster. The Avid Connectivity Partner Program offers a full range of resources designed to help developers and their organizations connect their media solutions to the MediaCentral Platform. These include the Avid Connectivity Toolkit, and professional and solution certifications. The Burst mobile video platform enables Avid customers to acquire video content from media teams, fans or followers and seamlessly integrate that video into Avid workflows for play-out to broadcast or post-production editing. The Burst Connector Module will work directly with Media | Director and the MediaCentral | UI Toolkit.
