American Digital Network To Live-Stream 30 Spring Events
Continuing its successful run of events in 2016-17, the American Digital Network (ADN) will carry a minimum of 30 live broadcasts during the spring competition season. Included for the first time among the spring events schedule is live coverage of the American Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships. The ADN will be live during the last day of both competitions on April 18 and April 25, respectively.
Events will cover regular-season softball and baseball games in addition to both American championships. The American women’s and men’s tennis, outdoor track and field and rowing championships will have broadcast coverage.
The ADN spring season will open on Saturday, April 8, when Houston hosts UConn in the second of the teams’ three-game softball series. Baseball coverage will follow the next week, with Tulane welcoming UConn to New Orleans on Thursday, April 13.
On Tuesday, April 18, ADN coverage will originate from Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach Golf & Spa Resort for the women’s golf championship. Later in the week, The ADN will carry the women’s tennis championship on Saturday, April 22, followed by the men’s tennis championship the following day. The ADN will wrap its week of championships on Tuesday, April 25, airing the men’s golf championship from the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort.
The American softball championship will open on Thursday, May 11, with The ADN carrying the first five games of the championship. May 11-13 will also see comprehensive coverage of the American outdoor track and field championship from Houston.
The spring schedule will wrap May 24-27, as The ADN will have games 3-14 of the American baseball championship from Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Fla. Broadcasts on the American Digital Network can be viewed by visiting TheAmerican.org or via the Roku app.
