International Judo Federation Taps wTVision’s JudoStats CG for Broadcast Graphics

All the major events on the International Judo Federation Calendar for 2017 (Grand Prix, Grand Slam and World Championship) will have their broadcast graphics operated by the new version of wTVision’s JudoStats CG, now in an optimized and more intuitive format.

It is already a long partnership, the one that brings together wTVision and the International Judo Federation (IFJ) to produce high-quality broadcasts and take the best judokas in the world and their ancestral techniques to fans all over the globe. The Paris Grand Slam, streamed live by IJF on Feb. 11-12, was the first official tournament to employ JudoStats CG V5. The Gran Prix of Düsseldorf, Feb. 24-26, was the second.

JudoStats CG V5 integrates the official data and scorings in real time, delivering the broadcast graphics accordingly.

The new version of this leading application is much more intuitive and visually appealing, decreasing the response time of the operators. It is also already prepared for the rules of the new Olympic Cycle.

wTVision usually deploys up to four specialized operators for each IFJ event, one per tatami, and it will keep doing so with the new version of the software, now with a more efficient process.
