Upstage Video Hires Craig Amhaus as VP of Business Development

Upstage Video has announced that sports marketing executive, Craig Amhaus, has joined the company to further develop their growing portfolio of clients within the live events industry. Philadelphia-based Amhaus comes with experience from the professional sports industry, having spent the last six years at the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer where Amhaus played an important role in building the Union’s value proposition to regional and national brands looking to position their sponsorship dollars.
Amhaus joins Upstage Video as Vice President of Business Development to continue the company’s success providing video production systems to events in the U.S. and abroad.

His success in developing marketing partnerships for brands at professional sports organizations captured the attention of Upstage Video’s President, Doug Murray.”Craig specializes in strategic partnerships at the brand level. We’ve added a multitude of new services this year, flight packs, media servers, streaming services, VIP/event closed-circuit TV channels, custom content, just to name a few” says Murray. “We’re excited to have him on board and transmit our message out to the sports entertainment arena and beyond.”

Prior to his time with the Philadelphia Union, Amhaus worked in partnership development roles within NASCAR at Just Marketing International and Dover Motorsports; and as a sales professional with StageCo in the Event Production Industry. Amhaus comments, “Over the years I’ve kept a consistent pulse on the growth of Upstage Video. Their recent move to Rock Lititz prompted me to explore further. It only took me one country drive to the mega entertainment/production complex situated in the heart of Lancaster County farmland to know that this was the right time, company and opportunity for me to successfully transition my career from sports marketing back into event production. The team at Upstage Video are total pros and the company culture truly compliments my style and client approach. I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Upstage Video family within this leadership role.”
