Leader Electronics Signs Exclusive Product Distribution Agreement With Asaca

Leader Electronics has signed an exclusive overseas product distribution agreement with Asaca Corporation. Effective from July 1, 2017, Leader Electronics becomes the primary distributor for Asaca Shibasoku’s portfolio of broadcast-related products in all countries of the world except the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea.

Established in 1971, Asaca manufactures a wide range of equipment for use in television studios, audio studios and the wider electronic media market. This includes 4K interfaces such as the DUX-205 4K upconverter, DUX-206 4K downconverter, UX-21 bidirectional 12G-SDI / quad-3G-SDI 12 UHD converters, test signal
generators and signal analysers, plus the Shibasoku VC7 motion-compensated multi-format standards converter.

Leader will add Asaca and Shibasoku products to its own product lineup, strengthening its global sales structure in response to the global expansion of digital broadcasting. Leader will also continue to develop into new markets. In particular, Leader plans to promote sales in more than 60 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia, with a focus on its established network of US subsidiaries and sales bases in the UK and Singapore.

Leader Electronics develops, manufactures and sells electronic measuring instruments in Japan and internationally. It offers RF equipment such as video signal level meters and broadcast products including selection guides, display and measurement systems, loudness/audio monitors, waveform monitors/vectorscopes, test signal generators/changeovers, and sync generators.
