IBC 2017: Sixty redefines the future of television with engaging interactive live TV at IBC 2017

Sixty, an interactive TV company, has announced that it will demonstrate during IBC 2017 how its game changing interactive TV platform enables broadcasters and content owners to deliver more engaging, high quality viewing experiences. Additionally, it will also discuss new sports and broadcast industry partnerships and demonstrate how its clickable on-air graphics solutions can enable advanced advertising models.

On stand 14.C20 IBC demonstrations will show how Sixty makes TV content more interactive and engaging through its clickable on-air graphics product, Ease Live, particularly within sports.

“Our game changing TV products are currently receiving a lot of attention across the industry as they are providing a new way to engage audiences with interactive live TV, while still making it work with the broadcaster’s existing workflows,” said Kjetil Horneland, CEO, Sixty. “Visitors to IBC will be able to see demonstrations that show that we have the products and knowhow to deliver large-scale interactive viewing experiences for live and VOD. This makes TV more exciting and personalised and opens up a new world of opportunities.”

At IBC Show 2017, Sixty will show how its products and services enable broadcasters to innovate and implement a wide range of interactive features and graphics on top of existing OTT platforms and apps to enhance the television experience and ultimately excite viewers worldwide. Solution demonstrations include:

Ease Live: a flexible platform that unifies the linear and online TV experience with a consistent brand and design, providing on-screen graphics that come to life in the hands of the audience by making them “viewer clickable” across all devices. The product can be used by any broadcast system or online video platform and integrates seamlessly into current workflows, taking advantage of all the unused data available, including the latest statistics, tracking and highlights.

Ease TV: a user interface framework and an off the shelf design that makes your set-top-box offering stand out. Through its modular and flexible design, Ease TV contains all the basic features required to make the set-top-box TV experience look great and feel right. Its built-in horizontal ‘from left to right’ flow principle enables the TV experience to work seamlessly on any TV screen.
