Simplylive Releases Ref&Box for Official, Medical Review Applications

Simplylive continues to grow its product offering with the release of the Ref&Box, a server solution for official or medical review applications.

As a result, we are now releasing the Ref&Box, which addresses the growing market for referee reviews or medical analysis. We have a solution that keeps the process simple and allows the focus to be on quickly finding the best angles to make a proper decision.”

The Ref&Box server records 8 x HD SDI sources but the architecture allows for multiple systems to be connected for analysis of more than eight cameras. The user interface keeps with the touchscreen philosophy that allows instant access and control of the angles for review and selection. The layout presents camera selections from the full eight with options for 4, 2, and full screen layouts.

The Ref&Box includes all the key features to browse, play and control playback speed with all on screen functions. The selected angles can also be pushed to a second screen for referee or medical review. Additionally, pinch to zoom is available in all camera windows to manipulate the focus and point of view for better decision making. The system allow for marking cues or creating clips that can be exported to local or external storage.

The Ref&Box system allows many configurations for multiple users and display devices with a flexible architecture that allows both local or long-distance user control. Additionally, the system is available in an offline version allowing exported content to be reviewed again for deeper analysis or training purposes.
