Ross Video’s Steve Romain Set to Retire After 19 Years

After a long and productive career in the broadcast and production industry, Steve Romain has decided to hang up his “tweaker” and retire at the end of August. Steve spent the past 19 years with Ross where he was an important part of the sales and marketing team that delivered record, year after year growth, up more than 15-fold in revenue over the time that he was with the company.

Over the years, Steve managed a U.S.A. sales territory, called on U.S. Network Accounts, headed up Ross’ Canadian Sales Team, built Ross’ Stadium business into a successful market and launched openTruck.

“Steve’s passion for the live production industry, dedication to our clients and his drive to succeed were core to the way he approached his work at Ross.  Steve made a major impact within the company, pioneering a number of successful internal ventures and never hesitating to jump on a new challenge when asked,” says Jeff Moore, Executive Vice President at Ross Video.  “Steve built strong relationships with Ross’ clients, staff and other organizations within the industry and will be missed by many.”

“It’s been an incredible ride with Ross over the past two decades – I could not have had a better employer or more career opportunities,” says Romain. “Thanks in particular to David Ross, Jeff Moore and all my clients, I trust I brought value to you all.”

Steve’s last day will be August 31st, and he can be reached up until then at [email protected]. For Ross-related inquiries following Steve’s retirement, please contact Sheldon Speers, Director of Sales Operations at [email protected].
