The advent of 4K, HDR, and new display technologies entering the professional world has made monitoring more sophisticated. How does one guarantee viewing fidelity and respect creative intent? Get an inside look at monitoring for color accuracy and HDR imaging as The Studio-B&H and Sony host a special Open House on August 31 at the First Floor of the B&H NYC SuperStore at 420 9th Avenue in New York City.

Gary Mandle, Sr. Product Manager for Sony Electronics Inc. and The Studio-B&H team, will provide expert knowledge and hands-on access to solutions in monitoring with the development of Sony’s OLED technology. This is an ideal opportunity to gain the required knowledge for color calibration, color matching reference monitors and learn QC techniques.

A few of Sony’s OLED monitors such as the 4K HDR BVM300 master monitor, the PVM X550 high grade monitor and the BVM E171 critical reference monitor will be showcased.

During our event, you’ll be able to join a live discussion with Gary that will involve setup, standards, calibration, HDR and obtain necessary tools that will feature your content in its best light.

The Studio-B&H team of engineers and specialists will also be on hand to answer questions and provide you with additional insight on monitoring workflows.
