Sports Broadcasting Fund Available for Hurricane Harvey Victims

Industry folks affected can easily apply for aid online

If you or an industry co-worker or friend has been affected by the devastation from Hurricane Harvey, please know that the Sports Broadcasting Fund is available to assist with the payment of bills and other items in the coming days and weeks. The goal of the fund is to be a first responder in a time of crisis, and what has happened in the wake of Harvey clearly qualifies.

The Sports Broadcasting Fund is available to industry professionals who have suffered in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

To apply for aid (or to donate), please visit the Sports Broadcasting Fund website today. Applying for aid is quick and easy: simply download an application, fill it out, and return it to SVG. It is important that a third party (ideally, someone in a management position for your company or an SVG Advisory Board member) signs off as an advocate for the desired assistance. Applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but our goal is to offer assistance within 48 hours. Please note that we do not offer direct financial assistance but instead pay bills on behalf of the applicant.
