American Digital Network To Increase Fall Sports Offerings

Building on its success over the last four years, the American Digital Network (ADN) will increase its fall sports offerings in 2017. The ADN will offer four regular-season contests in men’s and women’s soccer, along with volleyball. Additionally, the American Athletic Conference men’s and women’s cross country, women’s soccer and men’s soccer championships will have broadcast coverage.

The American Digital Network will open its fourth season on Thursday, Sept. 21, when UCF travels to Cincinnati for a women’s soccer match. The Knights are coming off a win over No. 4 North Carolina, while the Bearcats knocked off Miami (Fla.) in their most recent match.

The newest member of The American, Wichita State will debut on the ADN on Friday, Sept. 22, when the Shockers travel to Philadelphia to meet Temple in volleyball.

Championship coverage will begin on Saturday, Oct. 28, as the ADN will carry the American Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships from Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia. Championship coverage will continue the following week as the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the women’s soccer championship air on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and Friday, Nov. 3, respectively. Both rounds will take place at the site of the No. 1 overall seed.

The semifinals of the American Men’s Soccer Championship will be carried on Friday, Nov. 10, from the site of the highest remaining seed after the quarterfinal round.

The fall slate of offerings on the American Digital Network will conclude on Wednesday, Nov. 22, with a “War on I-4” matchup between USF and UCF.

Broadcasts on the American Digital Network can be viewed by visiting TheAmerican.org or via the Roku app. Additional winter and spring broadcasts will be announced at a later date.
