RT Software Announces Support for NewTek 3Play Replay Server Across tOG-Sports Telestration Family

RT Software, a supplier of broadcast graphics systems, has announced that the tOG-Sports family of analysis and telestration systems now support NewTek 3Play sports video production solutions.

The integration enables a 3Play system to  share video clips with the tOG-Sports graphics system that adds analysis graphics such as lines, regions, and highlighters. There is no need for a physical file transfer, although this is an option if required. For fast turnaround analysis such as replays the 3Play content simply appears as thumbnails on the tOG-Sports interface ready to be selected and used in analysis sequences or by a presenter using a tablet or touchscreen to add the graphics.

“This is a tight integration with the 3Play. We are particularly pleased to have full transport control of clips on the 3Play server via the tOG-Sports operator, tablet or touchscreen interface,” says Luke Harrison, Product Manager at RT Software. “There is also an option to select SDI or NDI workflows offering users the option for an IP-based workflow if preferred”.

Transport control, clip information and thumbnails are handled via a network connection to the 3Play, along with NDI transport if using IP-based video protocols. SDI video via BNC cables is also supported if preferred.
