Outdoor Sportsman Group Names Mike Carney COO of OSG Publishing, Branded Media

Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) names Mike Carney Chief Operating Officer of Outdoor Sportsman Group Publishing and Branded Media. Previously, Carney was Executive Vice President and Group Publisher for Outdoor Sportsman Group.Carney will oversee operations of Outdoor Sportsman Group’s publishing and branded media arm of the business that includes 15 leading outdoor lifestyle multimedia brands, including Guns & Ammo, Game & Fish, Bowhunter and In-Fisherman, and 16 of the outdoor industry’s websites.

Before joining Outdoor Sportsman Group, Carney served at JM Associates in sales and on-air hosting in Little Rock, AR; Lowrance Electronics as Director of Marketing and Director of GPS Sales in Tulsa, OK; and  In-Fisherman as Publisher and General Manager in Brainerd, MN.

In another move, Outdoor Sportsman Group’s Derek Sevcik has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of Finance and Publishing Operations. Sevcik will oversee Outdoor Sportsman Group Publishing’s circulation and manufacturing operations.
