Turner Sports Cancels NBA Opening-Night Road Show Due to Bay Area Fires

Remote studio production was scheduled to take place in San Francisco on Oct. 17

In response to the terrible fires raging through Northern California, Turner and the NBA have canceled its season-opening onsite studio Road Show, which was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17, in San Francisco.

On Friday afternoon, Turner Sports issued the following statement:

“Through our ongoing conversations with local officials, we reached this decision primarily to ensure all of the valuable resources and focus can be directed toward those in need.  Our deepest condolences are extended to all of the people impacted by these tragic fires.”
