Brazil’s Casablanca Online Upgrades DSNG Fleet with ATEME Kyrion Encoders, Decoders

Casablanca Online, the biggest video service provider for live broadcasting in Brazil, has upgraded its DSNG fleet with ATEME’s Kyrion encoders and decoders.  A long-time user of ATEME’s technology, Casablanca Online has once again selected ATEME advanced contribution solutions – including HEVC encoding technology as part of the DSNG fleet – for its national and international customers.

Based on ATEME’s fifth generation STREAM compression engine, the Kyrion encoder/decoder provides the best baseband video quality at minimum bitrates, according to the company. This solution has been designed for contribution over satellite and IP networks, with added value features such as ultra-fast-boot, ultra-low latency, and ABR output.
