NAB NY 2017: Prime Focus Technologies Shows Latest in CLEAR Media ERP

Prime Focus Technologies (Booth N745), the technology arm of Prime Focus is showcasing their updated CLEAR Media ERP Suite at NAB New York 2017.

The world’s first, proven Hybrid Cloud-enabled Media ERP Suite, the CLEAR Media ERP has been enhanced with a new Work Order Management functionality that is pre-integrated with its Media Asset Management, Workflow Engine, and Video Tools. This further elevates the CLEAR Media ERP promise of bringing enterprise digitization to the next level, by enabling users to manage assets, resources, tasks, and workflow orchestration all on ONE system.

Work Order Management is a powerful addition to the CLEAR Media ERP offerings, which include DAX Production Cloud, Promo Operations, Mastering Automation, and an Interoperable Master Format (IMF) Player for playback over streaming proxy.

“With Work Order Management, the CLEAR Media ERP Software is even more powerful than before,” said T. Shobhana, Vice President and Head Global Marketing & Communications at Prime Focus Technologies. “Now Media & Entertainment (M&E) organizations can have both assets and work-related details for the entire content supply chain on one system. This exclusive capability will usher in extreme transparency across the content lifecycle and drastically reduce manual tasks to help M&E enterprises lower Total Cost of Operations.”

While users have been able to track business processes in previous versions of the CLEAR Media ERP, the new Work Order Management now allows the tracking of every incoming work request including all of its associated processes, tasks and deliverables, through completion. Additionally, it’s Resource and Task Assignment modules enable assignment of manual tasks to best-fit resources based on skill, availability, and cost. Users can assign tasks across their pool of internal, vendor, and freelance resources, thus ensuring optimal resource utilization in alignment with business objectives.

With Business Process Management (BPM) driven tasks, due date-based Work Order monitoring dashboards, in-depth data analytics and reporting, Work Order Management is a vital ingredient that helps M&E enterprises improve quality and maintain on-time delivery alongside increases in scale. It lays the foundation for streamlining content operations and helps M&E players enhance efficiencies across core processes like Acquisition, Review & Approval, Cataloguing, QC, Mastering, Distribution, Promos, and Localization.
