STATS Names Casey Wasserman Board Director

STATS has named Casey Wasserman as its newest Board Director. Wasserman is known as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wasserman, a sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing and management agency that represents brands, properties and talent on a global basis. He is also the Chairman of the LA2028 Olympics, a position held since 2014 when Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti appointed Wasserman to head the city’s now successful Olympic host efforts.

“Casey is one of the most admired and respected executives across sports, entertainment, marketing and media and he and Wasserman will serve as exceptional counsel for STATS,” says STATS CEO Ken Fuchs. “We share a common drive to find new ways for fans to get closer to the game, to help athletes and teams excel, and to support brands in telling their stories around the culture of sports.”

Wasserman also serves as President and CEO of the Wasserman Foundation, which funds in the areas of education, arts and culture, service and global initiatives. He is a Trustee of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and a board member of several renowned philanthropic organizations including The Jules Stein Institute, The LBJ Presidential Library and The Motion Picture Fund. Wasserman also serves on the board of directors at Activision and the digital media company, Vox Media.
