APM Custom Delivers New Music for Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, and ESPN’s SportsCenter

The APM Custom team continues to create custom music for the sports entertainment industry. This time, APM Music partners with the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics and finally, ESPN’s SportsCenter.

Detroit Pistons
Last week, the Pistons played their first regular-season game within the city of Detroit in more than 30 years, featuring new player intro music created by APM Custom.

The APM Custom team delivered a driving hip-hop groove that was synchronized with an interactive PixMob light show of 6 million LED lights, creating a high-energy experience for both the fans and the players.

Boston Celtics
The Celtics were looking for a custom theme that honored their past while looking toward the future. They wanted a custom hip-hop rhythm track mixed with a bit of tradition to sonically brand all of their digital content. To honor the franchise’s storied history, the APM Custom team included classic radio calls from sports announcer, Johnny Most.

SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt
APM Custom composed new music tracks for the upcoming football season for SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. Working closely with ESPN’s Music Department, the APM Custom team created cues that had a driving tempo over an in-the-pocket hip-hop groove.

The sound needed to be big and energetic, with a touch of drama, which led APM Custom to produce orchestral hip-hop tracks that featured live brass. Fans can watch it on Streamable and hear all tracks on Soundcloud.
