SVG Rocky Mountain Regional Platinum Series Event Draws 40+ Video Pros in Denver

The latest SVG Rocky Mountain Meetup, part of SVG’s Regional Platinum Series of events, was held in Denver on Thursday, Nov. 9, drawing more than 40 sports-video professionals to discuss top-of-mind issues facing one of the industry’s fastest growing markets.

Led by Dave Zur, KSE Media Ventures’ GM of Network Operations Center and SVP Operations & Engineering, the meeting drew representatives from AT&T Sports Networks, Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (owner of Altitude Sports, Avalanche, Nuggets, Pepsi Center, and Rapids, among other Denver-based sports properties), Mobile TV Group, NBCUniversal, University of Colorado, Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado, Metro State University – Denver, Pueblo Community College, and others. In addition, executives from SVG Platinum Sponsors Canon, CenturyLink, Lawo, Ross Video, and SAM (Snell Advanced Media) were in attendance.

Held at Stoney’s Bar & Grill in Downtown Denver, the SVG Rocky Mountain Meet-Up marked the latest chapter in SVG’s continued effort to help the regions’ broadcasters, pro franchises, universities, and technology vendors better communicate and share ideas with one another.

The SVG Platinum Regional Series is open to all end-users (video-production professionals working for broadcasters, leagues, teams, universities, digital outlets, etc.) and SVG Platinum Sponsor companies. Stay tuned to Sportsvideo.org for information regarding future Regional Platinum Series events .
