Prime Focus Technologies Adds James Eccles, Chris Reynolds to North American Team

Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the technology arm of Prime Focus, is expanding leadership in North America with the recent addition of James Eccles as Vice President, Key Accounts, Sales Cloud Applications & Media Services; and Chris Reynolds as Vice President, Head of Technical Solutions Group.

These two additions to the team will further accelerate PFT’s rapid growth in North America, with Eccles focusing on generating new business opportunities and Reynolds heading the Technical Solutions Group.

“James and Chris both have vast experience in global business development with major Hollywood studios, coupled with a deep understanding of Media & Entertainment (M&E) operations, which makes them a perfect fit for PFT’s rapidly expanding business,” says Patrick Macdonald-King, President, Americas, PFT. “We are confident that they will add enormous domain credibility to our efforts of propelling expansion across the company’s innovative cloud application and digital content service offerings.”

Eccles previously worked for Deluxe Entertainment Services, Chace Audio, Westpac Banking Corporation and various New Zealand government administrations, and is a member of the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA). Reynolds also worked for Deluxe Entertainment Services and Chace Audio, and is an active author, presenter and member of various industry groups and associations including SMPTE, AES, AMIA, MESA and IS&T.

Based out of PFT’s Los Angeles office, Eccles and Reynolds will foster and build upon PFT’s existing clientele, which includes some of the world’s biggest broadcasters, studios, brands, and digital organizations.
