SVG Summit 2017: Despite League Challenges, NFL Production Remains as Advanced as Ever

Execs from NFL, CBS, Fox, New York Giants discuss the modern media-production landscape in the NFL

Although the NFL has dealt with its challenges over the past couple of seasons, coverage of the league continues to be a bastion of technical innovation and ratings success. At the 2017 SVG Summit, content-creation and distribution experts from across the NFL spectrum took the stage to share their thoughts on the current state of NFL production, what they want to see out of next-generation developments, and much more.

In a session moderated by HBO Sports’ Jason Cohen, a panel of experts — CBS Sports EP/SVP, Production, Harold Bryant; Fox Sports SVP, Technical and Field Operations, Michael Davies; NFL Media VP, Production, Dave Shaw; and New York Giants Entertainment VP/Executive Producer Don Sperling — tackled topics ranging from highly publicized ratings issues to growth in technology across NFL live game production, and much more.
