Raycom Sports Receives Two Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards

Raycom Sports has been honored with two Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards by the Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

For the fifth time in the last six years, Raycom was the winner in the category of Sports Event/Game for the 2017 ACC Basketball Tournament Championship. Receiving Emmy Awards were David Barringer, Lonnie Dale, Alex Farmartino, Robert Reichley, Jonathan Robbins, Joshua Vinson, and Jeremy Williams.

Raycom Sports also won the Sports Program Feature category with Conner Strong from Alex Farmartino, featuring the story of Pitt RB James Conner. After earning ACC Player of the Year honors, Conner battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma before returning to be one of the best players in the nation.
