Monumental Sports Network, Keemotion Partner to Stream Live Youth Hockey Games

Monumental Sports Network, the first direct-to-fan digital regional sports platform, has partnered with Keemotion to produce and live stream multiple regional youth and high school hockey games from the Washington Capitals’ practice rink, Kettler Capitals Iceplex. These games and more join the network’s current roster of youth hockey coverage in partnership with Giant to present the “Giant High School Hockey Showcase” this season. Coverage with the new technology debuted last month with a game against rival high schools, O’Connell versus Langley. 

Keemotion’s cloud-based technology, which utilizes a proprietary motion-detecting camera system, drastically simplifies the network’s production process. In addition to providing local and out-of-town fans with high-quality live stream coverage, the cutting-edge tech will supply coaches and leagues with essential real-time analytic capabilities. Fans, subscribers, coaches, and teams can instantly gain access – including sharing game highlights through social media via the Network’s website and app, available on mobile, desktop and streaming devices including Roku, FireTV, Apple TV, XBox One and more.  

The network’s partnership with Keemotion comes on the heels of several recent innovative tech collaborations aimed at amplifying fan’s viewing experience. In the year since its launch, the Network has enhanced its streaming mechanics with fresh and inventive technologies that include live championship coverage at the 2017 E3 Sports Zone and integrated wearable camera and multi-camera technology via ActionStreamer and Kiswe Mobile, respectively.
