ESPN Digital Tops For February In Total Minutes, Key Demo

Despite NBC having both the Winter Olympics and the Super Bowl , ESPN’s NFL, NBA and college basketball content drove ESPN Digital to the number-one spot for total minutes and average minute audience, as well as total unique users in key demographics among all U.S. sports properties.

For the first time in the last three Olympic months (February 2014, August 2016 and February 2018), ESPN Digital was number one in the U.S. for total minutes with 3.9 billion and an average minute audience number of 96,835. Yahoo Sports-NBC Sports Network was No. 2 in February with 3.4 billion total minutes and an average minute audience of 84,351.

Among U.S. men ages 18-34, ESPN Digital was number one for the month of February with 17.2 million unique users, with Yahoo Sports-NBC Sports Network was second with 15.7 million unique users. ESPN was also No. 1 in the U.S. among men 18-49 and 25-54.
