American Digital Network To Stream Spring Schedule On Facebook

Adding to its diversified digital offerings, the American Digital Network (ADN) will carry 32 spring sporting events on Facebook during the American Athletic Conference (AAC) season.

The American Digital Network, which saw 178-percent growth in 2016-17, will put its entire spring live event slate on Facebook, including 25 championship events. Fans can view the events on The American’s Facebook page.

“We are pleased to be working with our friends at Facebook to create another platform on which our fans can watch American Athletic Conference live events,” AAC Commissioner Mike Aresco says. “This partnership expands our reach while allowing us to engage our fans in new and exciting ways.”

Among the fan engagement opportunities on the Facebook broadcasts are fan polls and direct engagement with the announce teams.

The initiative continues the expansion of ADN, which in recent years has added live coverage surrounding its football and basketball championships, media days and other high-profile events, to its daily presence via “The Rise,” highlights, interviews and other programming.

The American Digital Network will open its spring slate on March 23, with a baseball matchup between USF and UConn.
