ESPN+ Announces Slate of MLB Games in July

ESPN+, the first-ever multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) group and ESPN, will showcase 23 of MLB’s 30 teams during its daily slate in July.

The schedule features six teams including the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Diamondbacks and Dodgers are currently battling for first in the National League West. The Indians and Francisco Lindor appear twice during the month against American League Central opponents as they look to increase their lead. First, they will take on the third place Detroit Tigers and Nicholas Castellanos (July 27), then the second place Minnesota Twins and Eddie Rosario (July 30).

July’s schedule features three games between California based teams. On July 12, the Dodgers and Matt Kemp visit the San Diego Padres and Eric Hosmer. Then, in the final game on ESPN+ before the MLB All-Star break, the Los Angeles Angels and Mike Trout visit the Dodgers. Finally, on July 21, the action returns to California as the Oakland Athletics and Jed Lowrie host the San Francisco Giants and Brandon Belt.

There will be no games available on ESPN+ during the MLB All-Star break from July 16-19.
