NFL Media Hires Greg Polcsa as Vice President of Franchise and Network Marketing

NFL Media announced the hiring of Greg Polcsa to the new role of Vice President, NFL Franchise and Network Marketing. He will report to Julie Haddon, NFL Media’s Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Polcsa will be charged with overseeing the marketing efforts for Thursday Night Football and NFL Network shows, including Good Morning Football, NFL Total Access, the NFL’s entire Sunday NFL GameDay lineup, and more. He will also lead NFL Network’s marketing efforts around Preseason, Combine, Draft, and Postseason.

“NFL Media has a unique and powerful brand imprint among football fans,” says Polcsa. “As a marketer with a football obsession, having the opportunity to help deepen fan love for these franchises and ignite new audiences around our incredible content is about as good as it gets.”

Polcsa joins the NFL from Amazon where he was Senior Brand Marketing Lead for Amazon Studios. He led marketing of NFL Films’ All or Nothing and the inaugural season of Thursday Night Football, which helped establish Prime Video’s position as a premium streaming option for Live Sports. On Thursday Night Football, Polcsa oversaw the integrated planning and execution of the awareness and episodic tune-in campaigns, including the football-themed takeover on Amazon shipping boxes and earned a Clio Award for the 2017 TNF ad campaign. Polcsa was also responsible for marketing the Amazon Original Series, The Man in the High Castle.

Prior to joining Amazon, Polcsa held brand marketing and digital media roles at Nature Made Nutrition, the leading vitamin and supplement brand in the U.S. He began his career in brand management at Unilever, where he led global product innovation for the Dove brand in North America, Europe, and Latin America, including work on the iconic Dove “Real Beauty” campaign.

“Greg is a fantastic addition to our marketing team,” says Haddon. “I’m thrilled to have someone with his deep brand, digital media and storytelling experience on our bench as we think about new ways to attract, engage and retain our NFL fans. Greg’s experience working with the NFL on Thursday Night Football will be tremendously valuable to this exciting, growing franchise.”

Polcsa holds a B.S. in Business and from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He currently resides in Studio City, California.
