PCCW Global’s Kevin Baker To Speak at the Gartner Catalyst Conference

PCCW Global, the international operating division of HKT, Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications service provider, announced that their Digital Platform Lead and Innovation Specialist, Kevin Baker, will speak at the Gartner Catalyst Conference, taking place on August 20-23, 2018 in San Diego, CA. Mr. Baker has more than 20 years of senior product development experience across software, operations & infrastructure development. He is an evangelist for the transformation to software defined networking and digital business and currently manages a global multidisciplinary team addressing complex service development issues to deliver PCCW Global’s Console Connect service, a leading Software Defined Interconnect platform that supports a range of digital solutions that are driven by customer experience.

On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Mr. Baker will participate in the session, “The Digital Platform – Are Today’s Networks Up to the Task?” He will discuss how consuming everything “as a service” requires new levels of network automation, agility, and security and how enterprises can take advantage of digital platforms, directly connecting to extensive ecosystems of digital partners and flex their services at the click of a button.
