CBS Sports Network To Televise 18 Games of Patriot League Basketball in 2018-19

Eighteen Patriot League basketball games will be televised on CBS Sports Network during the 2018-19 season, including both men’s and women’s League championship games.

The television schedule tips off on Friday, Nov. 9 when Navy hosts Maryland as part of the Veterans Classic. The League slate begins on Monday, Jan. 14 when two-time defending Patriot League Champion Bucknell hosts Holy Cross at 7 p.m. ET. The schedule continues later in the week with a women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 19 with Army West Point hosting Navy. Coverage of the women’s game begins at noon, with the men’s game following at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Overall, the CBS Sports Network will air 14 regular-season men’s and women’s games during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship will be televised on CBS Sports Network for the eighth-consecutive season on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Patriot League Women’s Basketball Championship set to be aired for the 10th-straight season on Sunday, March 17 at noon ET. In addition, CBS Sports Network will carry both men’s basketball tournament semifinal matchups on Sunday, March 10 at noon and 2 p.m. ET.

There will be one men’s basketball flex game on Saturday, March 2 at noon. The selection of the flex contest will be made no later than 10 days prior to the competition date.
