SMPTE 2018: Grass Valley To Demonstrate GV Korona Video Production Center, LDX 86N Series Cams

Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will showcase two of its multiformat production solutions at SMPTE’s Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition 2018 (October 22 – 25, 2018, booth 500). The featured solutions will include:

  • GV Korona Video Production Center: A space- and cost-efficient switcher with a built-in touchscreen menu system that suits a wide range of requirements and user preferences. It delivers support for multiformat productions in any mix of SDI, 12G-SDI and IP, HD and 4K UHD, and SDR and HDR, giving users the flexibility to produce a show in any video format with any connectivity available on the market today.
  • LDX 86N Series Cameras: Delivers native HD/3G and 4K images for the highest possible resolution and image clarity. With a daily, weekly or perpetual GV-eLicense upgrade path, you can move from any single speed HD/3G format to 4K — from 3X HD speed to 6X HD/3X 3G speed — and even a camera that can switch between higher resolution and higher frame rate. Optional high dynamic range (HDR) for single-speed operation is also available via a perpetual GV-eLicense.

Grass Valley experts will be available at SMPTE 2018 to discuss the company’s solutions in further detail. Also, Klaus Weber, Principal Camera Solutions & Technology, will be participating in the “Creative Grading – Or why a new way of broadcast camera control is needed” session on Thursday, October 25 from 4:00–4:30pm in the Sacramento Room.
