fuboTV Achieves Most Viewed Day on October 28

Sunday, October 28 was a big day for the World Series champion Boston Red Sox and El Clásico winner Barcelona — and it was also live TV streaming service fuboTV’s most-viewed day ever.

Nearly 170K unique viewers turned to fuboTV for Sunday’s major sporting and entertainment events, which also included NFL Sunday, English Premier League soccer, a new episode of The Walking Dead on AMC, the Ray Donovan season premiere on Showtime, and more, in addition to the World Series and El Clásico.

Here’s a recap:

  • fuboTV delivered nearly 170K unique viewers, a 21% increase over its previous all-time high
  • There were nearly 100K concurrent streams on fuboTV at 1 p.m. ET (during NFL Kick-Off and El Clásico), an 18% increase over the previous all-time high (World Cup)
  • fuboTV was also the #1 sports app in the iOS App Store ahead of ESPN, NFL, and YouTube TV (World Series’ presenting sponsor)
  • fuboTV was the only OTT service to stream El Clásico in 4K Beta. As it has all season, fubo streamed English Premier League matches in 4K Beta as well.

This strong viewership supports fuboTV’s huge growth (more than doubling subscribers YoY) and proves that interest in vMVPDs continues to increase.
