ESPN Expands Reach on Snapchat With Daily Programming

ESPN is debuting a new lineup of afternoon programming on Snapchat, with ESPN Daily — a rotation of original editions of popular ESPN shows, each weekday afternoon.

ESPN’s presence on Snapchat expands its overall cross-media audience, with a significant non-duplicative reach among young viewers: in recent research, SportsCenter on Snap increased ESPN’s reach among P18-24 by 33% over linear TV.

“We’re proud of the innovative and entertaining work we’ve done with SportsCenter on Snapchat, which has expanded the overall audience we reach each day,” says Ryan Spoon, Senior Vice President, Social Content, ESPN. “With the launch of ESPN Daily, we’re looking forward to building upon that with new, unique formats for some of our other popular shows and extending them to young, engaged fans.”
