WSC Sports Produces Video Highlights for Stadium’s Social Media Platforms

WSC Sports and Stadium announced an expanded partnership that brings WSC Sports’ generated video highlights to Stadium’s multiple digital distribution platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and MSN, enabling Stadium to distribute highlight videos to existing and new audiences with enhanced and tailored engagement. Using WSC Sports’ advanced machine learning technology, Stadium can automatically cut and deliver post-game football and basketball highlights from major college conferences in its studio programming and to Facebook, Twitter, and other leading video partners.

WSC Sports and Stadium first began working together last year, exclusively on highlights for ACC Conference games. The partnership has grown to include coverage of football and basketball games across four college conferences. This year, in addition to the ACC, WSC Sports also delivers highlights for games played within the Big 12 Conference, Mountain West Conference, and Conference USA, amounting to coverage of approximately 1,200 games.

In addition to Stadium platforms, all four conferences are receiving customized video packages that enable them to increase engagement and share the best moments to their websites, mobile apps, and social media accounts.

“Our video highlights enhance the fan experience of Stadium’s content across all social networks,” says Daniel Shichman, Co-Founder and CEO of WSC Sports. “College fans of the ACC, Big 12, Mountain West, and Conference USA can be sure they will never miss a touchdown, 3-point shot, or buzzer-beater. Creating content automatically in scale promises a great experience for every sports fan and ensures fans are getting exactly what they want to see.”

“WSC has provided Stadium a seamless system to deliver high-quality highlights to our audience in record time,” says Stadium Managing Director Andrew Schnell. “We’ve been incredibly happy with the relationship and are thrilled to deliver highlights, created via WSC, in our programming and directly to our fans.”

Currently, Stadium airs over thirty live college football games on Facebook, high school football, Friday Night Poker, and a collection of college basketball games exclusive to Facebook Watch.
