FingerWorks, neo360 Construct Application for Broadcasting Telestration, Graphics

FingerWorks ReVu is launching a partnership with neo 360, the touchscreen video control technology, to give sportscasters the ability to use telestration, graphics, and now complete touchscreen video control live on-air. The new solution will be demonstrated at the Sports Video Group (SVG Summit) in New York on December 10th and 11th at the Hilton Midtown Hotel at Booth #31 in the Mercury Ballroom.

The joint solution combines FingerWorks ReVu, a real-time telestration software which has a customizable user interface and tools and supports 4K using NDI or 12G SDI streaming and neo 360 an all-in-one video encoder and player enabling analysts to precisely control video speed, direction, and frame-by-frame playback using simple touch commands.

FingerWorks ReVu offers more than 100 innovative and customizable telestration tools, which analysts can use to illustrate critical moments using clear and concise visuals, as well as automatic roster and player ID tools, which make it possible to follow the standings in real-time.

neo 360 provides additional interactivity with granular swipe-and-tap video controls. Sports Analysts can change video speed, reverse direction, pause, and present forward or backward frame-by-frame playback of video simply by touching the screen as they analyze clips.

“Fingerworks Telestrators have been a technology market leader in sports broadcasting for over 20 years. At our very first meeting with the Fingerworks team all parties immediately realized the synergy of combining these two powerful technologies” says David Borish, CEO and Co-Founder of neo 360. “We are looking forward to bringing this new way of sports storytelling to broadcasters around the world.”
