ESPN+ To Stream Eight Games of MLB Spring Training

For the first time, ESPN+ will carry a slate of Major League Baseball spring training games in 2019. The eight-game schedule started last Saturday and features seven straight days of games. The games will lead off an exclusive season-long schedule of more than 180 MLB games on ESPN+, beginning on Opening Day.

The ESPN+ Spring Training schedule will provide many baseball fans with the opportunity to see several star players with their new teams, as well as top prospects, including:

  • Robinson Cano with the New York Mets on Feb. 23;
  • Josh Donaldson with the Atlanta Braves on Feb. 23;
  • Paul Goldschmidt with the St. Louis Cardinals on Feb. 24;
  • Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. with the Toronto Blue Jays on Feb. 25;
  • Manny Machado with the San Diego Padres on Mar. 1.

The schedule opened this Saturday at 1 p.m. when the New York Mets, Cano, and Tim Tebow hosted the Atlanta Braves and Donaldson. On Sunday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m., the St. Louis Cardinals and Goldschmidt hosted the Washington Nationals and Juan Soto. The final game will feature the defending World Series Champion Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts vs. the Chicago Cubs and Kris Bryant.
