The National Lacrosse League Develops Live Streaming Plan for International Fans With Fanseat

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) has partnered with Fanseat to offer the live streaming of all NLL games, including playoffs, to viewers outside of North America for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season.

All games will be accessible live and on demand on the sports entertainment service Fanseat. With viewers in six continents, the NLL has a rapid, passionate fan base. Fans from across the globe will now have the opportunity to watch all NLL games live and keep up to date with their favorite teams.

Lacrosse has grown 9% year over year since 2001, with the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships in Israel being the strongest indicator of the sports growth. The games featured 46 participating countries, up from 38 teams in 2014 and 29 teams in 2010. This partnership will provide another way to bring lacrosse to a growing global audience.

NLL is also available to stream domestically on B/R Live. The B/R Live app is available for download via iTunes, Google Play; and/or Apple TV, the Roku platform, or Amazon Fire TV.

“We are excited to provide the opportunity for our fans living outside of North America to follow their teams and watch NLL games live,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “Lacrosse has grown internationally over the past decade at a rapid rate and there is global interest in our sport and League now more than ever before. It’s in the league’s and our fans best interest to provide live games so dedicated fans can follow their favorite teams and new fans can see the best lacrosse players in the world.”

Fans can enjoy all the NLL games, as well as all other sports and leagues, streamed live on Fanseat, including the Korisliiga (Finnish basketball league), the Basket Ligaen (Danish basketball league)), the Mestis (Finnish ice hockey league), the Ligue Magnus (French ice hockey league), and a lot more different sporting events for over 2,000 matches each season, no matter where they are. Fanseat comes with a monthly subscription fee of 7.99€ with no commitment.

“We are delighted to start our cooperation with the NLL and BR Live to further grow Fanseat sports portfolio and provide Lacrosse fans all around the world live access to the biggest league in the sport,” said Fanseat Managing Director Jean-Maël Gineste.
