The Olympic Channel Hosts the 2019 World Rowing Cup Series

The Olympic Channel will present live streaming coverage of the World Rowing Federation 2019 World Rowing Cup series. Worldwide coverage of the semi-finals and finals of each World Cup event will be available at olympicchannel.com and its mobile apps.

The 2019 World Cup series features three events including Plovdiv, Bulgaria from May 10 to 12, Poznan, Poland from June 21 to 23, and Rotterdam, The Netherlands from July 12 to 14. The overall World Rowing Cup winners will be determined at the conclusion of the third event.

Live streaming coverage of the World Rowing Cup I in Plovdiv began Saturday, 11 May at 7:00 (UTC) with the semi-finals, and continued on Sunday, May 12 at 7:30 (UTC) with the finals. Approximately 300 athletes from 24 countries were expected to compete in Plovdiv.

Highlighting the 2019 season opener are Rio 2016 silver medallist Damir Martin (CRO) in single sculls, brothers Martin and Valent Sinkovic (CRO), Rio 2016 gold medallists in double skulls, the unstoppable single scull Ekaterina Karsten (BLR), two-time Olympic gold medallist and competitive for 29 International seasons, and the pair Tracy Eisser (USA) and Megan Kalmoe (USA) competing in double sculls.
