Program Productions, XLT Management Services Promotes Scott West to President/COO

Program Productions and XLT Management Services announced the promotion of Scott West to President and Chief Operating Officer of the combined companies, effective immediately. Current President Robert Carzoli will continue to serve as Chief Executive Office and Chairman of the Board.

West brings a wealth of experience from a myriad of leadership roles in the broadcast industry. The former President of Corplex, West was the Vice President of Engineering Operations at NEP and also served as the VP of Engineering Operations at F & F Productions. Prior to his time at F & F Productions, West spent one year as Vice President of National Accounts at PPI/XLT and returned to PPI/XLT as Vice President, Communications and Client Services, in January of 2019.

“Our growth and continuing expansion require that we promote someone with Scott’s background and reputation,” Carzoli said. “His ‘client-first’ approach aligns perfectly with one of the core pillars that has led to Program Productions success for 30 years.”

During his nearly 30 years in the sports and entertainment broadcast business, West has worked on a variety of projects with PPI/XLT. He says that his positive experiences from previous projects with the two companies makes him extremely optimistic about the future of the organization, noting that “the entire company’s ability to deliver on Bob Carzoli’s passion for the business” is impressive.

Scott will lead an experienced and dynamic leadership team including Steve Spurlock: EVP of Production and Chief Technology Officer; Joe Zelasko: EVP of Field Operations and Chief Client Officer; Thomas Zeller: EVP of Finance and CFO, and Amy Scheller: SVP of Strategy and Development. All were recently promoted as part of a strategic corporate reorganization designed to implement growth strategies and technologies while continuing to meet client expectations.
