CONNECT Releases KYBIO Media’s New Monitoring, Control Modules

KYBIO Media is a unified end-to-end monitoring and control (M&C) platform serving TV, satellite, telco, and other vertical markets in the media and broadcast world. It is at the occasion of IBC that CONNECT will showcase KYBIO Media’s newest enhancements, designed to continuously meet the critical challenges of broadcasters to capture, produce, and distribute quality content around the globe.

Connect Kybio MediaThis simple yet powerful platform enables broadcasters to oversee an entire ecosystem, centralize data, and streamline the management of IP-enabled gear and technology. Highly scalable and open, KYBIO Media plugs into any third-party or in-house technology with open protocols and APIs, and functions on an open-driver policy. Whether broadcasters need to monitor a small or highly complex infrastructure, KYBIO Media offers scale and resiliency.

Its unique combination of modules enables users to

maximize their equipment uptime thanks to real-time alarms, notifications, time-based reporting, and root cause analysis
save time for operations with time management features, event resolution tracking, and advanced control for remote actions over connected equipment with industry-standard protocols
make actional insights by aggregating data from multiple equipment and locations, then transforming that data into comprehensible, visual insights and reports
With the 3.9 release, KYBIO Media includes a new generation of advanced drivers, enabling the stacking of protocols for communication, control, and management. Indeed, with this new generation of drivers, users will have the flexibility to choose from a wide variety of protocols and even combine multiple of them to be even more efficient in the management and control of their devices (e.g. basic monitoring through SNMP, provisioning over SOAP, control over ModBus TCP, etc.)

A new API will also be released as part of this new version, further enhancing the interoperability with existing customer ecosystems. This new API will come as a license add-on and will enable more advanced workflows and integration capabilities with enterprise-grade systems (ERP, CRM, MAM/PAM, Workflow engines, etc.)
