USL League Two’s San Francisco Glens Score With LiveU-Powered Streams on Twitch

The San Francisco Glens USL League Two Soccer Club is using LiveU technology to stream their games to Twitch. The production crew made the move from cell phones to professional cameras and a LiveU LU600 portable transmission unit to provide a higher-level production for viewers.

The content includes pre and post-game interviews with players and coaches and the full game, which covers all the action including the huddles where fans can listen to the team discuss strategy. The SF Glens achieved their broadcasting goals and connected with fans and viewers in a much more engaging way.

“We don’t have the operating budgets of MLS, but we do want to broadcast games in high-quality,” says Tyler Larson, video content producer, SF Glens. “Our team was playing in stadiums that didn’t have a modern infrastructure, but we promised our fans broadcast-quality signals using better cameras. We were able to deliver with LiveU technology.”
